Dragonfly is our one-on-one private lesson program designed to support students who benefit from personalised, assisted learning.
Led by experienced instructors, these calm, off-peak sessions focus on building confidence, safety, and foundational swim skills at the student’s own pace. Progress is reviewed every 6 months in partnership with families. All abilities are welcome.
Our swim school is committed to inclusive aquatics, ensuring that all swimmers, including those with specific support requirements, can fully participate in mainstream lessons with the right support.

5 students in a class
This level is a session for adults who are able to swim Freestyle and Backstroke and have basic Breaststroke and Butterfly skills. We will refine the strokes and develop swimming endurance to enable you to swim further. These lessons are 30 mins in duration, with a maximum of 5 students in a class.

Skill Focus
Drop down underwater, push off in a streamline with correct head, body and arm position and continuous butterfly kick.
Completes 15m freestyle with an effective kick, correct breathing pattern and head position.
Completes 15m backstroke with an effective kick and correct body position and arm action.
Performs breaststroke kick in streamline position with correct ankle, knee and hip position.
Performs breaststroke kick with propulsion and glide, in a streamline position.
Performs breaststroke arm action with correct technique, timing and body position.
Breaststroke, 15m with correct technique, timing and body position.
Perform an effective butterfly kick, with arms in streamline position & chin on chest.
Performs 4 strokes of butterfly with a streamline start and no breathing. Correct kick and basic timing with an overwater arm recovery.
Complete a tumble turn, streamline and continually swimsFreestyle. Complete a tumble turn, streamline and continually swims Backstroke.
