Schools Swimming Program
Water Safety has become an integral part of every Australian child’s education. We continue to focus on sharing this knowledge with local communities to assist in the reduction of our National Drowning Statistics. BlueFit Swimming are dedicated and can offer your school a program that suits the needs of your students. We can include age specific water safety education sessions at school to accompany the practical lessons in our facilities. Give your school community the opportunity to become water safe and learn a skill for life.

Frequently Asked Questions
A commitment to providing quality teachers and an outstanding Learn ToSwim Program. Concern and care for the physical and emotional wellbeing of all students. Small class sizes – providing optimal lesson quality and personal attention. Pre-program questionnaires carefully group children of similar abilities together prior to program commencement.
It is strongly encouraged that parents complete the survey as this allows the students on the first day to participate in their allocated class. BlueFit Staff will then confirm throughout the first lesson that all students are correctly allocated into a level for the duration of the program. Any students that do complete the preprogram survey will need to complete a practical assessment on day one. Which will mean they will not be able to participate in a full lesson until we have assigned a level.
If parents have concerns about the level of their child in the program they are welcome to raise their concerns with the school and we will address these concerns with the school directly. Contacting the facility to request information about the school program is not necessary and unfortunately due to operations our Customer Service Representatives will not have this information on hand to assist.
All students who participate in the program will receive a certificate. These are provided to the school on the final day of the program and can be handed out at school to all the students.
It is not a requirement for students to wear a swimming cap. However, if they have one or need to, we encourage a cap to keep girls’ hair off their face. If a cap is not worn, we ask that girls’ hair is tied back and off their faces.
While we welcome parents to our facilities, especially parent helpers to assist the school teachers, we are also aware that parents can at times cause distraction and can also not be beneficial for some students. If you are going to encourage parents to visit and watch their children we do ask you to inform parents not to address or approach the BlueFit Swimming team with concerns or interfere with our teaching teams. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation with parents’ involvement and implementing our communication expectations while parents are at our facility.
